Wow! What a surprise! We went there for a random Tuesday lunch and I loved, loved, loved the food! We've tried 2 entrées and 2 main dishes and all of them were amazing. Also Rhum cocktails were very good! We haven't tried the deserts, but they looked well while passing next to us. Staff wasn't super friendly, but they were absolutely helpful. A lot of options for people who aren't eating meat. My only complaint is that there was a very strong smell of urin when we entered the restaurant, but when I went to the toilets, I didn't think it came from there. They were very clean. I don't know what has happened and where the smell came from. Toilets are not wheelchair accessible and not very comfortable for people with reduced mobility.

Came across this place by chance since most restos around this area open only at 7pm and we did not have many options since we were early. Happy hour is available everyday and they offer a happy hour apéro set at 10€ which includes a drink and a tapas plate (2 aubergine frites, 2 cod fritters, 2 plaintains). For mains we ordered the grilled fish and chicken colombo. All mains come with a salad, rice and red beans. Fish was very fresh and perfectly grilled! Chicken too was very flavourful. Red beans were very delicious. Also, they take ticket restos. Would definitely come back again to try the other dishes.

A wonderful find in Paris. We were welcomed by a bright cheery space and very friendly servers. We ordered the chicken salad and gumbos in a coconut sauce. Flavours were clean with the perfect balance of ingredients that gave the food complexity. Portions were generous. The restaurant and its facilities are very clean. We sat inside but there is outdoor seating aswell. Go. You won’t be disappointed. Bonus: Servers speak English.

Located in the heart of Paris at 122 Bd du Montparnasse, La Créole is a vibrant Creole restaurant that invites diners on a flavorful journey to the islands. This charming spot serves up authentic dishes that celebrate the rich culinary heritage of the French Caribbean and Réunion. From the first bite to the last sip, La Créole delivers an experience full of complexity and comfort.

The menu offers an irresistible variety of traditional delights. Start with the Samoussas Au Thon Escale Réunionnaise, crispy pockets filled with seasoned tuna that awaken the palate with their balance of spice and freshness. For mains, the Dorade Grillée stands out—a perfectly grilled fish, fresh and succulent, paired with hearty red beans and fragrant rice, a classic Creole trio that warms the soul. The Crabe Colombo offers a rich, exotic taste of the islands, layered with fragrant spices and slow-cooked to tender perfection. Don’t miss the Boudins Créoles, which bring a smoky, robust character that is unforgettable.

Equally impressive are the drinks and desserts, which crown the meal with island charm. The bar crafts exceptional cocktails such as the Ti Punch and the Rhum Arrangé, both showcasing the depth of rum as a spirit. The Flan Au Coco Caramélisé Fait Maison and Blanc Manger Coco are sweet, silky finales that offer a delicate coconut richness balanced with caramel notes, perfect after a flavorful feast.

What makes La Créole truly special is the interplay of authentic Creole flavors brought to life in a lively yet relaxed Parisian atmosphere. The portions are generous, the ingredients fresh, and the staff genuinely helpful, even if they keep a professional reserve. For those seeking vegetarian options, the menu thoughtfully includes choices that cater well without compromise.

Visiting La Créole is less about mere dining and more about discovering a slice of island culture in Paris. Whether you’re drawn by the promise of spicy stews, tropical cocktails, or a new culinary adventure, this restaurant delivers with warmth and authenticity. It’s a place where the rich aromas and distinct Creole tastes linger long after the meal ends.
